“Performing the material at its best”

HOW DID YOU FIND YOURSELF A DESIGNER/MAKER

I have worked all around the world both as a performer and designer/maker. I grew up with a father that loved materials, he was a maker, he and his friends built a plane. Coming from architecture background and going into puppetry, clowning, directing plays and improvisation found me creating and designing in a performance and creative setting.

TELL US ABOUT BEING A MAKER

I love materials, working with them. You approach materials and then you work with them to see their potential. It’s not something you learn at a school, but just through trying and seeing. I love this relationship with making and creating, I often wake thinking about solutions and ideas. When engulfed in a project it consumes you and gives you new life.
