UpCycle Ya Life: Turn an old t-shirt into circular scarf or Statement Necklace!

Turn an old t-shirt into a unique and desirable circular scarf.  Embellish it with your one-of-a-kind design using cotton African wax prints, beads, sequins and macramé knotting.  You will leave with a beautiful and uniquely personal scarf, some renegade sewing techniques, a handy guide to remind you of your new skills, and a little bit of Uganda in your soul.

You'll Get To:

• Learn all about UpCycling both here in The Uk and in Uganda
• Try and learn decorative hand stitching techniques including the blanket stitch and appliquéing techniques
• Try out basic macramé knotting
• Learn how to turn a T-shirt into a scarf
• Take home a hand instruction sheet so you can try this up cycle again at home

We will provide everything you need, but in the spirit of upcycling please feel free to bring an old t-shirt you would like to give a second life - the bigger the better!
