TELL US ABOUT YOUR HOME TOWN

I grew up in the countryside outside a village in the Peak District called Bollington. Peaceful place with the most number of pubs out of any other village in the UK! The nearest town, Macclesfield was where I went to school and hung out quite a lot. It’s your standard friendly northern market town – the main pull is that it was so close to the countryside and a short train ride to Manchester.

HOW DID YOU FIND YOURSELF A MUSICIAN

At school my parents didn’t want me to have drum lessons at first so I taught myself. Since then I’ve had individual lessons with various great teachers.
